A great deal of the work that John and Adrian do is never reported, or made public, as it is personal to the residents concerned and must remain confidential.
But without mentioning names we feel we should comment on the way WPH pulled out all the stops after Adrian contacted them, just before Christmas.
It looked as though a freezing festive season was facing a severely disabled resident living alone in a WPH flat. Multiple attempts to fix his central heating had failed and it looked as though he was going to spend a cold Christmas confined to one room with just an electric fire - and his central heating and hot water boiler not working .
Adrian took his case up with WPH officers, drawing attention to the seriousness of the situation and the exceptional circumstances. Rather than chasing for a piece by piece solution WPH moved in and replaced the entire system.
What a happy ending.
