Another interesting aspect of Tory selective leafleting occurred when Cllr Mrs Leslie Rennie was visiting Seacombe, from afar, with so called Tory ’primary’ leaflets. She was, as always, characteristically good humoured (so much friendlier than some of her colleagues) and stopped to chat in Dalehurst Close – but refused to give one resident a form, nor even his next door neighbour! Looks to us, at least, like the primary wasn’t what it was cracked up to be - especially as they had to motor outsiders over here from leafy Wallasey to do it at all.
But do primaries have another purpose? Watch this space!
