We reported on 25th that a ship had arrived laden with Tall Oil – the substance associated with a particularly foul smelling incident earlier this year.  Adrian explained that this had been reported to our Environmental Health Officers with a request that there should be urgent measures to ensure that nothing similar to the appalling smells earlier this year would be replicated. 

The Association members were adamant that they wanted no repetition of the previous air contamination and applauded the work being done by Adrian and John.  They also decided that the Committee would write formally to the Council.
