Tate Triangle Residents’ Association – recent community successes

At this evening’s Tate Triangle Residents’ Association meeting reports were given about the excellent work done in conjunction with St Luke’s Church.  Facilitated by the Residents’ Association, and with close support from Cllr John IMG_0870Salter, the Community Payback Scheme has renovated several rooms in the Church so that they can once more become excellent community facilities.  The Community Association Committee members are working closely with the Church to bring ever more local activities into its newly renovated premises.  John was personally thanked for the work he had put in.

John is seen (just about, but we didn’t want to leave the Church out of the main picture!) outside St Lukes where he was so closely involved in the renovation project.

This followed close on the heels of his involvement in the August Fun day.  That had been made possible by Riverside Housing’s grant of £700 pounds.  Out of the fun day came some raffle funding – which was donated to the ‘Help the Heroes’ campaign.
