More ‘Quaint quotes’: Denis hits on the killer blow.

13th December 2009

Despite his newest protestations, and try as he will, ’New Tory’ Knowles has failed to come up with anything to divert attention from his voting record.

The plain fact is that he voted to close both Guinea Gap Baths; and Seacombe Library.  He was so determined an advocate of the proposals that he made sure nobody could doubt it by going one huge step further - publicly declaring in the press that the closures would be ‘For the greater good’.

But under Conservative Party inspiration he seems to have come up with an ingenious new plan to divert attention: ’name calling’

In pursuit of this new-found cerebral methodology his latest ’political’ researches (clearly ‘in depth’) have brought him to the remarkable discovery that one of his former colleagues has – wait for it – a beard!

So, what a wit, Denis has taken to publishing his own (presumably highly qualified) medical view that his opponent ‘looks ill’  and has taken to calling him ‘Old Greybeard’.

We are so impressed by this late discovery of Denis’s previously unsuspected research talents that we have decided to augment his evidential data-base by publishing below a picture of, err ….. Denis.

Grey or blue Denis?
Grey or blue Denis?
