It seems as though water is so plentiful that leaks of this magnitude can be left for weeks at a time! 

Local residents have reported it.  Cllr John Salter has taken it up.  Now we have asked the Borough&#8217;s &#8216;Streetscene&#8217; professionals to add their weight to the request to have the Water Company do something about it &#8211; or let us all know if they don&#8217;t think it&#8217;s their responsibility.  But at a time when the reservoirs are getting low and a hose-pipe ban is already being talked about isn&#8217;t it time that these &#8216;privatised&#8217; bodies moved just a bit quicker to protect our resources aswell as their profits?<br/><br/><span class="readmore"><a href="%permalink%" title="Water leaks? <div class="mceTemp" style="text-align: left;">To add insult to injury the floor of the shelter had been made a lavatory for quite a number of dogs.  What sort of people are they who don&#8217;t have the decency to clean up after their pets?  (There is a bin within a few yards.)</div>

<div style="text-align: left;">John and Adrian attended the Seacombe Partnership meeting this morning, in St Luke&#8217;s Church .  Then off to attend to a casework matter. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">After that,  lunch in the Seacombe Community Centre&#8217;s excellent luncheon club.  </div>

<div style="text-align: left;">John is now the Council&#8217;s Official representative to the Community Centre.  Irrespective of how another councillor may have regarded the role John intends to provide full and meaningful support to the Management Committee.          </div>
